How to play
Lantern expedition
Bring hidden lanterns home across four selected courtyards.
- Use the Sun, Floor and bridge buttons to create crossings. Solid paths are walkable.
- Visit the star platform to collect the lantern. Key platforms release locks.
- Bring the lantern home. Keep a shadow before changing the sun when a bridge locks it.
Original game instructions
Turn shadows into walkable bridges across 16 handcrafted courtyards. Move the sun, rotate buildings, preserve shadows, and return a little light to the city.
- Move the light until a screen’s shadow aligns with both ends of a crossing.
- Fold the screen down to make a bridge, then select a glowing platform to walk across.
- Visit side platforms to unlock mechanisms. Later, rotate floors and keep shadows to connect longer paths.
- Return the lamp to its pedestal in each courtyard. Explore four chapters and look for hidden lights.
A little tip Reach solid ground before changing a bridge. Ask for another clue to highlight the next action; a suggested destination is marked NEXT.
