How to play
Merge tactics
Six crafted 2048 positions with visible upcoming tiles and a move budget.
- Use arrows, swipes or direction buttons to slide. Equal tiles merge once per move.
- Reach the target before the move budget ends. New tiles follow the visible queue, filling the lowest empty square right to left.
- Undo or reset to explore another sequence. Invalid moves cost no turn.
Original game instructions
Slide matching numbers together and build your way to 2048. Easy to learn, surprisingly hard to put down. Your board is saved automatically.
- Slide all tiles in one direction.
- Two equal tiles merge once per move. Their combined value is added to your score.
- A new tile appears after every successful move.
- Undo your last move to try another direction, including after the board fills up.
- Reach 2048 to win, or keep going. The run ends when no moves remain.
A little tip Try keeping your largest tile in one corner and build toward it.
